Camping!

Camping is one of my favorite things. So before Peter and Nicole left for Sweden, Brian left for Colorado and I left for Arizona; we did one last camping trip for the summer. We headed up to Price Canyon and drove for about an hour before we found the perfect camping spot. It was tucked back far away from the road, had lots of trees to block the wind and had some pretty good views. We drank our traditional Rockstars, roasted hot dogs and made some s'mores.

We finally went to bed around 2 am and we were all exhausted. However, Brian and I both didn't get very good sleep. We ended up on the side of the tarp that had tons of rocks underneath and we didn't bring pads to sleep on. I have recently become one of those people who can only sleep on a very fluffly mattress, so I definitely was in trouble. we finally fell asleep after clearing all the rocks out and making the ground semi comfortable. Then about an hour later, Nicole and Peter's dog, Jade, decided she wanted to come visit me and Brian. So she walked all over us, gave us kissed and kept switching back and forth between mine and Brian's sleeping bag. After she kept us up for about an hour Nicole finally came over and grabbed Jade and "locked" Jade up in her sleeping bag. Then we got about two hours of sleep before the sun woke us up. After that night I was pretty sure I was never going camping without an air mattress ever agin.

Next we had breakfast and took some pictures of the pretty views that were surrounding us.

We then drove the very senic route home so that we could see Mt. Nebo and The Devils Kitchen. This drive took us an extra hour and had us driving downhill the whole time. This drive somehow successfully broke the speedometer, odometer and transmission in Brian's car... Luckily Brian's dad found him a good Honda Accord for $2,000. :-)
